Yearning for summer

 

As it is starting to snow here in Utah, we thought we'd post this picture from the summer of Link lounging by the pool.

Mr. Fix-It

 

Lincoln loves to explore and "fix" things, especially any electronic devices. This is one of his favorite spots in the house - kneeling up next to the TV and opening the VCR door. Luckily, we never use the VCR so we don't care if he plays with it! Oh, and he also "fixed" Ryan's cell phone by dropping it on the floor...oops! Now Ryan has a new phone and Link has his old one to play with all he wants!

Thanksgiving

Pictures from our first Thanksgiving prepared on our own. Jamie made the turkey and other assorted items while I kept our little guy out of too much mischief.

Disaster averted

 

We were trying to get a sitting up picture of Link on his changing table. He hasn't yet learned the lesson of gravity and was on his way to falling off the table. Luckily I caught him while Jamie snatched this pic.

Daddy-Son time

 

Link loves watching CNBC with me in the mornings. No really, he sits there captivated for 15-20 min on my lap most mornings.

Heavy Sleeper

When Link was born he was a great sleeper, he could sleep through anything including Daddy and his camera antics. Enjoy this early look at our little guy.

Lincoln's Friends

 

Lincoln has discovered that it is fun to play with little people his own size. One week at church he entertained us while he and another little boy (9 months old) interacted with each other and crawled around. This acutally inspired Lincoln to start sitting and crawling more and within days he was able to do it! This is another little friend, Macie Bingham. Link was trying to be extra-cute and nice to her - what a little flirt!

A Day at the Park

 

 

We recently took Lincoln to the playground for the first time. We have been enjoying some lovely fall weather and thought that he might like the baby swing and little slides. He loved it and we have been back a couple more times since!

Lincoln was a spider for Halloween. He was able to round up some good candies for himself...er, for his parents!

Here is an early video of me changing Link. Yes he is very little here but also very cute.

We see him daily so it doesn't seem quite as dramatic, but here is a nice point of reference for his pace of growth.

Blending in

We wanted to continue our thematic dressing by wearing halloween colors today. Here is our pumpkin and Link is pretty excited about it.

Learning how to walk

Lincoln loves to walk with the help of others. He often gets so excited that he moves his legs really fast like he is running. Here is an early capture of his walking.
