Yes, we are expecting our second child in early August! I am 18 weeks along and feeling great. We did plan on having an "international baby" - which seemed like a fun idea at the time, but some days I think we are out of our minds for doing this!! I am just hoping for another good pregnancy and decent healthcare in England. People there have babies all the time and survive, right?! Lincoln is really cute when you ask him where the baby is - he points to my tummy and says "Baby!" I'm sure he has no idea what that means (and what it will mean for his status of only-child-beloved) but it is cute to see that he at least understands a little bit of what's going on.
Link and I visited my parents in Kansas City last week and had a great time. One of the highlights was seeing "The Cat in the Hat" at the PBK. Link is not one for stranger anxiety, but I wasn't sure how he would react to a dressed up person in a cat suit. Well...he LOVED him! He would not stop hugging and smiling at the Cat. When we left he cried and kept saying "Cat! Cat!" A week later we went back to the store and as soon as we pulled up Link said "Cat?!" - he remembered his good friend the Cat in the Hat.
Another real gem in KC was this great restaurant, Fritz's. It is train-themed (a perfect winner for Link) and has model trains running throughout the restaurant. But the BEST part is that little trains on a track overhead carry trays of food and then drop them on a platform that lowers to the appropriate table. How cool is that?!! Lincoln was in awe the whole time and loved watching all the trains.

Ryan had to stay home and work while we were off having a good time. :( But he just got his new Kindle 2 (backordered birthday gift) and is having fun with that.
