It's hard to get a lot of things done...

When you have THIS GUY to distract you every few minutes.

(Climbing on the table, climbing on EVERYTHING = trouble!)

I am reevaluating what I need to do before Christmas - it's kinda scary. Only 8 days left! I just might be a crazed Christmas Eve shopper this year.

I kind of flipped out a couple days ago when I realized I didn't really have any gifts for the kids yet. Christmas can alternate so quickly between being so fun and yet so stressful.

I love Lincoln's face in the picture. He is like a deer in the headlights. It is a little discouraging to hear that you can't get stuff done. I was counting on it getting easier as Lillian got older. Good Luck getting the things done that you need to.

Lincoln's face looks kinda like Thomas's in the background...or is that Percy....

I totally understand how that is right now. My little man is everywhere and in to everything too.

I totally understand the climbing on everything...it's hard to keep things out of their reach. And I might be out there Christmas Eve as well...ahhh!

Luckily for me, Scott doesn't know what Christmas is yet, so he has no idea how completely unprepared I am! :) One day many years down the road when Lincoln is off on his own, I'm sure you'll be missing these crazy Christmases! :)

Don't worry, Drew and I saved ALL of our Christmas shopping until next week since Drew has been busy with finals. You gotta do what you gotta do :) We will meet you in the stores...

great pictures. wonderful memories. I like the father son combo. It helps me understand a lot about my own habits and disposition. These habits and traits may have the force of DNA in shaping a young life. What fun we had. Thanks for enduring the freezing temperature. I wouldn't trade the memory of our time that day together, bone-chill and all.

I've got a climber, too! How is it that they have no fear at this age? A one-year-old climbing on the kitchen table is probably the equivalent of an adult climbing on the roof. Scary! And yet it doesn't phase them.

I hope you had a merry Christmas!!
