And it's a....

You may be able to guess from the new look of our blog that we are having a...GIRL!

We were able to see our new little daughter via ultrasound yesterday. Lincoln came with Ryan and I to the ultrasound and he was a little concerned that they were hurting me, but I reassured him that it was okay. He lifted up his shirt and started rubbing his tummy and repeated "okay, okay" in mimic of the ultrasound.

We are so excited to welcome a baby girl to our family! I almost don't know what to think - what do you do with a girl??! We are so used to everything boy - toys, clothes, rough and tumble, everything blue, etc. We went to Baby Gap the other day and I was in awe of the whole new world of cute baby girl clothes that has now opened up to me. Hooray!

It's so nice to finally know the gender of this little person and to dream of the possibilities of our baby GIRL.

Yeah! A girl! Congratulations. You will soon learn what it is like to have a girl. I haven't had a boy, so I don't have something to compare to. But babysitting a boy Isabelle's age once in a while, I would say the two are very similar - like to run and jump and be crazy. They both love playing with each others toys, even if they are "dolls" or "cars." You will really enjoy buying girl things. It really is fun.

Link will NOT be playing with dolls!
Unless those "dolls" have guns and/or swords.

Congratulations! You will have to give her a proper British name in honor of her birthplace. I am sure she will be beautiful and well loved!

YEAH!!! You will LOVE having a girl. They have such cute clothes and play with such fun girl things. I also love bows and pink and purple. I am going through the same thing with trying to adjust to having a boy. It is hard to force myself over to the boy section. I am sure we will both figure things out :)

I am so excited for you!! I love the baby girl clothes that are on the market these days, so much so that I'll probably want to buy all new instead of using Kaia's the next time we have a girl. :)

I was terrified at the thought of going from a girl to a boy, but it wasn't that bad. I'm sure you'll love also getting to enter the world of little girls - complete with princess dresses, purses, and high heels!

Yay! Girl clothes are fun, but dangerous. I spend way too much time looking at the cute girl clothes and shoes. I've finally controlled myself and don't buy very much anymore. I am so glad that you are having a girl. I can't wait to meet her!
